Come join others for a classroom presentation of ASM’s Principles of Failure Analysis. This course is designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice of failure analysis. A comprehensive overview of the field, this course covers three principal areas of interest: Procedures for Analysis, Failure Mechanisms and Failure in Product Forms and Components. Many case histories of failures and their elimination are highlighted throughout the course. Instructors typically have between 10 and 35 years of experience, and there will be time for discussion and questions throughout the training. It will be offered online via Microsoft Teams and in-person at the Caterpillar Tech Center.
Class will meet weekly Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30 - 6:30 PM starting September 15, 2026 to October 8, 2026.
