@Elizabeth Eddy Shared this interesting article in the Materials Teachers Camp community - thought you might enjoy it.

Looking for a good article about sustainable construction of buildings? Snohetta has completed a building in Norway that it says will produce more energy than it consumes over its life span. The building's concrete slabs, which help to store thermal heat during the day and release it slowly at night, along with its solar roof, water loops in the flooring, and geothermal wells, these Powerhouse Telemark buildings reduce their net yearly energy consumption by 70% compared to more traditional buildings.

    Thanks Elizabeth Eddy!

    Really interesting topic!
There is too a development on reciclying of plastic bottles to transform on plastic bricks for houses construction.
