Larry is a metallurgical and materials engineer with over 40 years of experience in failure analysis, materials characterization, product evaluation, and research and development with expertise in engineering evaluation of failures in metallic and nonmetallic materials by deformation, fracture, corrosion, and wear. Microstructure characterization is a core expertise in the MEE laboratory, and Larry's work includes advanced characterization techniques such as precision micro-sectioning, broad-beam ion milling, digital light microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy.
