    I was studied copper on ancient artifacts and its really amazing, and is quite good to get to learn more sure lots more to learn!

    Very interesting video on copper mining/smelting/refining.  Having previously worked for Phelps Dodge I had learned much about copper.  Today's methods of refining copper have become much more sophisticated; an electrowinning process of leaching the huge rock beds to extract the last bits of copper is now being utilized.
