Hi everyone!

My name is Monserrat López, currently I'm working as Assistant Professor at Instituto Tecnológico de Morelia, in the Materials Science Department. I teach Mineralogy and Manufacturing Processes courses for bachelors, I'm also enrolled as a co-advisor for the  AIST-ITM Student Chapter. Recently, our Student Chapter was recognized as Chapter of Excellence by the Material Advantage Student Program, being the first Chapter in Mexico to obtain this recognition.

Thank you for your congratulations. We are looking forward to be part of ASM' events every year, since the Student Chapter has participated in events such as IMAT, Heat Treat Mexico and Heat Treat 2019 thanks to  the support that ASM provides to students.
