    I'm curious to see video/slide demos you use to introduce the effects or properties of SMAs! Did you make your own? Do you like to use anything available online? What would you like to see?

    Here are a few I found interesting to watch.

    I like this one because it gives examples of the shape change of a wire along side examples of the crystal structure. Great intro video.

    The next video is a short time lapse on repeat of a tensile sample. We can see the martensite twins reorienting as stress is introduced. I appreciate the simplicity of the video.

    An open access SMA database has been released! Have you heard of the Shape Memory Materials Database developed by NASA GRC? As a student, a resource like this will be so useful when performing literature reviews and learning how materials response changes between alloy systems.
