CCAT has made added significant and new, state of the art machining, fabrication, and testing equipment during the past two years.

Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. (CCAT),  located on the UTC/ Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Campus (Directions.  GPS coordinates N 41 45' 28? The event at CCAT will be hosted by Dr. Jackie Garofano, CTO, and Jeff Crandall, Additive Technologies Manager. After dinner they will give us a presentation and explain the features and benefits of this unique organization and its three Advanced Technology Centers. This will be an eye opening look at future industrial manufacturing possibilities.

While we hope to continue meeting physically, as for our September 14 meeting, we continue to monitor COVID-19 safety protocols at local and state levels. For the safety of all attending, we ask all attending to observe these protocols.

On May 19, 2021 contingent upon a low incidence of COVID-19 and the Connecticut population continuing to get vaccinated, CT COVID-19 guidelines state that the vaccinated not required to wear masks and the unvaccinated must wear masks indoors in public settings. In July due the increase in positivity rates, the Connecticut Department of Public Health strongly recommends follow the CDC guideline recommendations of wearing masks indoors in areas with "substantial" COVID-19 community spread. Hartford County is currently listed as such an area.
