Came across your thread requesting information on Flood Welding. As you must be aware that Flood Welding is method of depositing material to enable the refurbishing of dies of fixtures. This is niche process in which the weld metal deposition is done on the die above the martensitic transformation temperature of the die material, cooled and stress relief annealing done at temperatures less than the tempering temperature.
In India a number of enterprises offer this technology like Carver Welding, Ador Welding, Bethel Engineering etc.
