The Los Angeles Chapter will have Student Night on Tuesday, April 22 at Geezers in Santa Fe Springs (12120 Telegraph Road). We will have graduate and undergraduate presentations in a "speed dating" format, with 5 minutes of presentation followed by two minutes of Q&A, followed by a short time for judges to score the presentation. We will also show the entries of our metallography contest for students at Don Bosco Tech, and award prizes for the winners. In addition, graduate, undergraduate, and metallography entries will all have a "People's Choice" prize, voted on by all participants. You are welcome to attend, either as a spectator, or, if you wish, a Celebrity Judge.
