The Center for Materials Processing and the Oak Ridge Chapter of ASM International are proud to host the Annual Student Night! The poster session is open to both undergraduate and graduate students to showcase research and discoveries made through their months and sometimes years of work. Presenters will share their work with judges from industry, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and UTK Faculty and Staff. The first round of judging will be virtual and based on scientific content and poster design. Judges will provide comments to all, and the top posters will go forward to a second (hopefully in person) round at the IAMM on February 10th.These finalists will present their posters and presentation skills will be added to the list of judging criteria. Please note that the in person event will require face masks and social distancing.
*In the event of increased community spread of COVID-19 the final judging may be moved to a virtual format and a Zoom invite will be issued with a possible time change.
