    Event Description:

Instrumental gas analyzers are widely used and described by ASTM standards for the determination of carbon, sulfur, oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen in a variety of materials such as steel, alloys, metals, ceramics, bricks to name a few. More automation and reduced maintenance are required for QC needs and at the same time, some applications and new type of materials require improvements and specific developments for improved ease-of-use and performance.

In this webinar, attendees will learn:

    • How new furnace design reduces maintenance needs for carbon/sulfur analyzers
    • How resistance furnace design can improve performance for specific applications such as free carbon in ceramics
    • How unique devices improve performance for oxygen/nitrogen and hydrogen analyzers
    • How air sensitive samples can be analyzed accurately using oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen analyzers

    Speaker Bio:

@Matthieu Chausseau is a scientist with 20 years of experience in analytical chemistry and atomic spectroscopy. He joined Horiba Scientific in France in 2008 where he was in charge of ICP and became applications manager in 2015. He is currently product manager for elemental analysis and thin films for Horiba Scientific in the United States, covering ICP, GD, elemental analyzers and spectroscopic ellipsometry.
