L3 Company Statement: L3 CPS is consistently recognized as a market leader in the engineering, design, manufacture and remanufacture of engines, transmissions, suspensions and turret drive systems for tracked and wheeled combat vehicle systems. L3 CPS supports both domestic and international customers, including programs for Singapore and South Korea.

L3 CPS has had a 40-year tradition as a major player in the military land systems market and has had a historical and continued presence on strong programs in core areas, including the Bradley Fighting Vehicle Systems (BFVS), Self-Propelled Howitzer Systems (SPHS) M109A7, Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) and the M88 Recovery Vehicle. L3 CPS has a large installed customer base of approximately 30,000 combat vehicles worldwide.

The West Michigan Chapters of ASM International and SAE were proud to be allowed a peek behind the scenes at the Muskegon, MI L3 facility and learn more about the company and the services it provides for our fighting men and women. 

Additionally, L3 CPS is developing and delivering upgrades as part of the spiral performance improvements for U.S. Army modernization. L3 CPS is a proven source of reliable and quality products for the warfighter. With a continued focus on safety, lethality and readiness, L3 CPS successfully supports the defense systems of the Unites States and our allies, exemplifying our tagline – “We Power Freedom.”
