Thank you for organizing the meeting today.
In continuation of discussion regarding the content for the newsletter that was discussed during the meeting, one idea may be to have brief introduction to the residual stress measurement techniques one by one, preferably basic theory, some illustrative examples of application to industrial parts. This way we can make it informative and educational in nature.

The presentation today was a perfect example of how residual stress measurements can be helpful in material evaluation/failure analysis/life cycle management of a high value project.

    Rajan,

Thank you for the comment.  I'll pass along to Ben.  Our plans going forward are to highlight each division of the handbook.  Measurements will be included in one of these sections.  We may decide to push the idea to the top.  We have topics for our next 2 newsletters, so it will be next year before we tackle the new ideas.
