Welcome to the ASM-Buffalo's Online Community! Here you will be able to access the latest information on our chapter and events, as well as access the advantages of membership with the chapter and with ASM International. In addition to the city of Buffalo, our local chapter encompasses the Western New York region, including Rochester, Olean and Dunkirk. The WNY region has a rich history in manufacturing, metallurgy and materials science and we are proud to have an active chapter with members from both local universities and industry. Our annual programs consist of a combination of technical meetings and plant tours throughout the fall, winter and spring. In addition to the networking opportunities, our meetings keep the local membership up on the latest materials technologies. The plant tours provide opportunities to leverage ideas as well as collaborate business opportunities.
