Welcome to the Dayton Chapter Home Page. The Dayton Chapter has a long history of support from businesses, academia, and industry in the Dayton and surrounding area.
Our Primary focus is to be a place to get together and discuss technical topics, have conversations about materials, and education.
Once a year, the Dayton Chapter, with the assistance of ASM International, hosts a teachers camp where teachers from Jr. High school level up to college professors can obtain a week of free training and material to get their students interested in Materials.
The Chapter usually has a technical talk every month and it is usually at the Engineers Club in Downtown Dayton. With COVID-19, the meetings have not occurred with any regularity but should be starting again soon.
