Are you interested in showcasing your latest research, advancements, and new applications in thermal spray technology? Look no further! The ASM Thermal Spray Society is organizing a special session during IMAT 2023: "Thermal Spray & Surface Engineering (TSSE) Forum", scheduled for October 16-19, 2023 in Detroit.  This is a unique opportunity to present your work to a diverse audience of peers and experts in the thermal spray and materials communities.  This forum will cover a wide range of areas of interest, including thermal spray and cladding technologies for additive manufacturing, coatings for biological, semiconductor, energy and automotive applications, as well as new materials for wear and/or corrosion applications.

 As one of the session co-organizers, I am also excited to announce that we have confirmed Dr. Arvind Agarwal, FASM, as a keynote speaker for the TSSE Forum.  Dr. Agarwal is the Chairman and a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Florida International University. His presentation will discuss "Tailoring Thermal Spray Process and Materials for Needs of the 21^st Century".

The Thermal Spray and Surface Engineering Forum & Expo 2023 (TSSE 2023) will be held together with the IMAT 2023 in Detroit, MI, USA (Oct. 16-19, 2023). For those in our thermal spray community who are planning to attend the IMAT 2023, the TSSE is a fantastic alternative to present their latest achievements in thermal spray, i.e., to see and be seen. 

While events like the ITSC are thermal spray events "to the core", at the TSSE 2023 you will have the opportunity to present thermal spray to a very diverse public. Therefore, if you are aiming at new and emerging applications (and markets) for thermal spray technology, the TSSE 2023 is the place to be.
