ASM Thermal Spray Society (TSS) is searching for a student to be a member of the TSS Board (TSS Student Board Member) 🚀.

To be eligible, you must be a registered undergraduate or graduate student during the academic year of service, studying or researching in an area closely related to the field of thermal spray technology (TSS accepts applicants from all over the world 👍): Student Board Member Programs - ASM International
To apply, submit an application package comprising:
1) Your current resume/CV.
2) A two-page essay (typed and double-spaced, in English) addressing your interest in participating in the program. Please make sure to address the following points:
3) What experiences have led to your interest in this program?
4) What qualities, characteristics and skills do you possess that will make you a strong candidate to serve as Student Representative to the TSS Board?
5) What do you hope to learn/gain from this program?
6) Two or three letters of recommendation from faculty.
Applications will be reviewed by the TSS Nominating Committee, which will forward recommendations to the TSS Executive Committee for approval.
Nominations deadline is April 1 (2026).
