The Journal of Thermal Spray Technology (JTST) will publish a special issue on 30 Years of Environmental Barrier Coatings: Technological Milestones, Cutting-Edge Advancements, and Future Perspectives in 2025. This special issue of JTST seeks to evaluate and showcase the development of environmental barrier coatings (EBCs), as well as illustrate challenges for current state-of-the-art EBCs, and finally future directions and challenges that lay ahead.
Dr. Edward Gildersleeve, GE Aerospace (USA) and Dr. Bryan Harder, NASA Glenn Research Center (USA) will serve as guest editors.
Interested authors are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract to Dr. Edward Gildersleeve (Edward.Gildersleeve@ge.com) and Dr. Bryan Harder (bryan.harder@nasa.gov) for consideration and comments before the preparation of a full manuscript.
