Dear Thermal/Cold Spray Community!
This is an exciting Canadian initiative 😃 regarding the beta launching of the Cold Spray Hub (Cold Spray Hub), a free, open platform built to support and accelerate research in cold spray technology 🚀.
The hub is the result of a collaborative effort between of these Canadian universities 😊: the Fatigue and Stress Analysis Laboratory at the University of Waterloo, the uOttawa Cold Spray Research Laboratory (CSRL), and the Modern Management of Data and Analytics Lab (M2oDA) at the University of Ottawa. It brings together knowledge and data from across the cold spray community in one accessible place.
In addition, the platform includes built-in calculators for estimating critical velocity and particle velocity for materials of interest 👍.
The Cold Spray Hub invites you to explore the hub and share it with your research teams, no registration required. As a beta version, it is a living platform and your feedback is appreciated, in particular:
- What works well
- What features or data you would like to see added
- Missing publications (you can submit DOIs via the "Your Contribution" tab; duplicates will be automatically flagged)
- General feedback through the "Contact Us" page
