The June issue of Shape Memory and Superelasticity is a special issue in honor of the late Professor Kazuhiro Otsuka. Prof. Otsuka worked on shape memory alloys for over 50 years, and made significant contributions to the understanding of shape memory's effect and superelasticity, together with the crystallography of martensitic transformation in various shape memory alloys. The special issue was organized by Dr. Xiaobing Ren, National Institute for Materials Science; Prof. Antoni Planes, University of Barcelona; and Dr. Avadh Saxena, Los Alamos National Lab.
