    I’m doing failure analysis and counterfeit testing for IC chips. We analyze the package material and lead material. Does anyone have experience with these materials that I could connect with?

    I have seen a presentation in the past from Martine Simard-Normandin from MuAnalysis in Canada where she was analyzing the mold compound of counterfeit components.  I think this would be a good resource with a wealth of information.  You could look the company up online, or even send an email to info@muanalysis.com as a starting point.

    Here is a results list for ISTFA Proceedings papers that are related to counterfeit detection. Here's a similar results list from EDFA Technical Articles. As an EDFAS member, you will have access to the full text of these papers. Contact information for the authors is usually provided within each article.
