IMS Board of Directors: Call for Nominations
IMS is soliciting nominations for candidates for the IMS Board of Directors. Open positions include one vice president and one secretary for a two-year term and three directors to serve a three-year term. Terms will begin on October 1, 2023. Any member of IMS in good standing is encouraged to nominate themselves or another member for any of these positions. Current board members whose terms are expiring may be eligible for nomination and possible reelection on an equal basis with any other candidate. Seeking IMS Student Board Members
We are looking for Material Advantage student members to provide insights and ideas to the IMS Board. Applications are being accepted for the 2023-2024 IMS Student Board Member position, which is open to undergraduate or graduate students, studying or researching in an area closely related to the field of metallography. One student is selected each year for this one-year, non-voting position on the IMS Board. Application deadline is February 15, 2023.
