IMS Board of Directors: Call for Nominations
The ASM IMS Awards and Nominations Committee is soliciting nominations for three Directors for a three-year term. Any member of IMS in good standing is encouraged to nominate themselves or another member for one of these positions. Current Board members whose terms are expiring may be eligible for nomination and possible re-election on an equal basis with any other candidate. Applications are due March 1.

Seeking IMS Student Board Members
We are looking for Material Advantage student members to provide insights and ideas to the IMS Board. Applications are being accepted for the 2026-2027 IMS Student Board Member position, which is open to undergraduate or graduate students, studying or researching in an area closely related to the field of metallography. One student is selected each year for this one-year, non-voting position on the IMS Board. Application deadline is April 1.
