LiquidMetal (USA) is looking for a thermal spray engineer, more specifically, a Senior Material Scientist (SMS) with expertise in iron based wire coatings including hardbanding, weld overlay and thermal spray wire coatings and processes; expertise in powder coatings is a plus. In this role, the SMS will be responsible for developing new thermal spray and hardbanding wires, improving existing proprietary wires, analyzing competing wires, and assessing the viability of wire alternatives for different applications to combat erosion or corrosion in customer environments.
