Thermal spray job position available.

Mainspring Energy (USA) is looking for a materials & process engineer with a thermal spray background.

Among the Required Qualifications:
            
- MS in Materials Science/Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- MS + 4 years or PhD + 2 years of industry experience.
- 4+ years of experience in spray process development, characterization, failure analysis and testing of thermal spray (HVOF, HVAF, APS, Cold Spray) coatings.
- Knowledge of basic statistics and evaluation of process capability is highly preferred. 
- Comprehensive practical knowledge of hardware used in the thermal spray. coating process.
- Experience with volume production of thermally sprayed components preferred.
- Deep understanding of properties and performance of engineering materials, and basic knowledge of structure-property relationships.
