Ife,
Metal Progress was the predecessor to the current ASM flagship magazine,
Advanced Materials & Processes (AM&P). We are currently working on setting up a site in the
ASM Digital Library for AM&P Technical Articles--this will be offered in addition to the
AM&P Digital Edition version. We expect to launch the site in the first half of 2023. The goal for the AM&P Technical Articles site is to make it easier to find, link to, and cite specific AM&P articles. The site functionality is similar to that of a journals platform (such as SpringerLink), and each article will have a unique DOI assigned to it.
In the initial launch, the archive will go back only about 10 years. We would love to go back farther in time--and include
Metal Progress articles--but that would be a massive project.
In the meantime, assuming you have relatively complete citations for the articles you need, you may want to try a document delivery service such as the one provided by the
Linda Hall Library. Linda Hall has a large collection of ASM and other metallurgy and materials engineering content. It is relatively easy to set up an account with them, and their fees for document delivery seem pretty reasonable to me. I recently ordered a document from them and received a digital (scanned) copy the same day.
Some organizations may have a document delivery arrangement with another service, such as the
Copyright Clearance Center's RightFind.
I hope this information is helpful.

Hello All,
I am looking for a way to get some specific Metal Progress articles. I know some university libraries have access to the physical journals, but I was hoping to see if there more be a more direct way to access.
