The ASM Thermal Spray Society (TSS) Open Mic series of talks highlight established leaders in thermal spray, who share their life-time experiences will all of us.
And for the next session, we will have a representative of our thermal spray community who is an inventor, founder and entrepreneur.
The next speaker will be Mr. Alan Burgess, President & Founder of SprayWerx Technologies Inc. (North Vancouver, BC, Canada).
The title of his talk will be: Entrepreneurship and Developing Thermal Spray Technology
Summary: From starting up the Northwest Mettech Corp. in 1990 and developing the Axial III plasma torch, to starting SprayWerx Technologies Inc. in 2011 to develop the ID-Nova HVOF technology, Alan will go through the ups and downs and lessons learned of being a thermal spray entrepreneur.
The session will be on March 20th, 2024 (Wednesday) at 9:00 – 10:00 am ET USA/Canada.
