    The 2021 Surfside condo collapse in Florida tragically claimed 98 lives. Now, new findings point to a critical failure in the pool deck-not the tower itself-as the starting point of the disaster.
    The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has released preliminary results that reinforce this theory. Their investigation continues, but these early insights raise urgent questions about structural design, inspection practices, and safety standards nationwide.
