Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is looking for a Special Processes Development Engineer.

And the development of thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) via plasma-spray is one of the requirements.

What are our expectations (summary):

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation and industrialization of a multitude of manufacturing technologies for special processes, such as welding, heat treatment, brazing, Metal Injection Moulding (MIM), additive manufacturing and thermal barrier coatings TBCs (plasma).

What your day to day will look like (summary):

Develops manufacturing processes in the field of metallurgy with an emphasis on thermal barrier coatings TBCs (plasma), Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) and additive manufacturing.
