I am starting a discussion on RF friendly materials. Today's RF devices utilize multi-metal packages with Cu metal routing to the top of the silk screen to transmit and receive GHz signal. Curious to know the type of materials industries use to protect these Cu lines from external environment. These antenna need to be protected from external environment while ensuring the materials used don't affect the Tx/Rx of signals. Looking forward to inputs.
