Dear Thermal Spray Community!
The Journal of Thermal Spray Technology (JTST) is seeking experts with experience and interest in engineering, materials science, manufacturing, or thermal spraying to apply to serve as volunteer Associate Editors of the Journal.
JTST publishes contributions on all aspects - fundamental and practical - of thermal spray science, including processes, feedstock manufacture, testing, and characterization. As a leading forum on thermal spray technology, its mission is to synergize the rapidly advancing thermal spray industry and related industries by presenting research and development efforts leading to advances in implementable engineering applications of the technology.
While we are open to engaging a broad set of areas of expertise, our current focus areas are:
• Tribology
• Mechanical Properties
• Anti-Wear Coatings
• Corrosion
• Welding, Plasma-Transferred Arc Welding, and Laser Cladding • Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning • Modelling Processes: Thermal-Fluids • Modelling Processes: Strength of Materials, Fracture
