    Event Description:

The automotive industry is innovating like never before, and new legislation is laying the groundwork for technological advancements in manufacturing that are aimed at cleaner, greener vehicles.

As we move from traditional internal combustion vehicles to electric vehicles, it is important to understand what the heat-treating industry may expect and how this transformation may create new possibilities for manufacturers, subcontractors, and heat treaters alike.

This joint discussion between Linde and Nitrex will address how the automotive industry, and therefore the heat treat industry, is evolving in response to the latest technological developments in vehicle production, value-added processes/services, automated controls, and other components.

In this webinar, attendees will learn about:

    • New areas of focus for heat treating in automotive and transport vehicles – ICEs and EVs
    • How new legislation requirements are changing the heat-treating landscape
    • Real cases and examples where heat treating can benefit the transport industry
    • The importance of gas purity and the role of atmosphere in heat-treating applications
