Dear Peter,

For sure spraying a coating inside a 39 mm ID is a major challenge. The only equipment I am aware of that may be able perform your requirement is the Praxair SG100 APS torch with the 2700 Extension.

Can the group offer any advice on how the TMS can be done to a verifiable standard and who has or can develop the equipment required. (Note we are ok in achieving the abrasive blast). We also consider the top 40mm in depth to be easily achieved but concerned beyond that as the angle deposit becomes shallow.

Any advice be much appreciated

Thanks for the responses so far. Rogerio, I believe the plasma extension torch would be able to access the works.

Pardon my ignorance but not too familiar with the plasma spray process. What spray medium would be most effective for corrosion protection. Looking at 60 year durability in a C4 (semi marine environment). The rest of the project is 300 microns of zinc-aluminium 85/15 thermal arc spray on a piece of major infrastructure. All to be done in-situ.
