I know many of you are gearing up for ITSC 2026 next month in Thailand. But, if that trip isn't in your plans (or if you are just looking for another venue to showcase your work and network with peers), we have a great option for you coming up in beautiful Québec City. 😁
The ASM Thermal Spray Society is organizing two special sessions during IMAT 2026 (Sept 28–Oct 1 in Québec City):
- Additive Manufacturing and Powder-Based Surface Engineering (Joint session with the ASM Additive Manufacturing Committee)
- Coating and Hard Facing Technologies: Thermal Spray, Cold Spray, Laser Cladding, and Weld Overlay Coatings
This is a great venue to share research and case studies with a broader materials audience, including engineers and decision-makers who may not typically attend a dedicated spray conference.
If you've been working on new process developments, feedstock innovations, or cross-over applications with AM, this would be a strong fit. It's also a nice way to connect with colleagues across the wider ASM community and bring more visibility to TSS efforts.
If you're interested, be sure to submit your abstract before March 13, 2026.
