Some of our ASM Indianapolis Chapter members and guests recently took an on-site tour of Steel Dynamics, Inc . Engineered Bar Products Division in Pittsboro, Indiana. The tour provided a great opportunity to see steel making processes first hand, from melt & pour to rolling & finishing. The group included current and retired Materials Engineering professionals, as well as students and interns, from across Indiana.
