After I posted my original comment, Veljko Samardzic reached out to me via private message and put me in the email list. I do believe there is an event every month. I would love to organize a meeting at Stevens if feasible. The scheduling might be a little awkward as all my classes in the evenings, though. Hi Ben, Just saw this as I was checking my ASM information. This chapter has not had an event in quite some time, it was more active about 5-10 years ago. For what it's worth, I'm also definitely interested in joining regular meetings, tours, etc. It can be a bit of a challenge in this area because we draw from all over the NY/NJ region and it's not always easy to fight traffic on a weeknight. My old chapter in Atlanta started having more events after I had left (or I was suddenly included on group emails), but I would like to see if this group also has occasional lab tours or other networking events.
