Technological advancements are causing changes to take place in the transportation industry. As the move from traditional internal combustion vehicles to electric vehicles becomes more common, it is important to understand what we can expect. This joint discussion between Linde and UPC-Marathon will address how the transportation industry is changing in relation to the latest technological developments, vehicle production, electronics, automated controls, and other components.
In this webinar, the speakers will:
- Review the new areas of focus in electric automobile and freight vehicle production.
- Discuss the importance of gas purity and atmosphere role in heat treating applications.
- Explain why automation and updated controls are important factors in product quality.
Speakers Bio:
Steve Mueller is a business development manager for Linde and works out of the Burr Ridge, Illinois office. He covers the manufacturing market, including heat treating. Steve has been with Linde for 19 years and has held a variety of positions in sales and engineering prior to his current role. He has a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University in aeronautical and astronautical engineering and a master of business administration from DePaul University.
Eric Jossart is the director of sales for the heat treatment market for UPC-Marathon. Prior to UPC, Eric was the co-owner of Atmosphere Engineering Company that was founded in 2003. This company was purchased by UPC in September of 2017. Eric graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and lives in the Milwaukee area.
