Purpose:
The ASM Archaeometallurgy Committee serves as a venue for communication, collaboration, and productive activity among ASM members with interest and experience in archaeometallurgy and other areas related to the history and heritage of materials, processes, and characterization methods relevant to ASM. The committee shall ensure that the society is serving the needs of the broader materials community in this area by developing and disseminating valuable and accurate programming, information, education resources, and data.

A member of ASM with experience or involvement in archaeometallurgy or related disciplines

Time Commitment:Members 1 to 2 hours/ month.

Terms expire August 31. New term begins September 1
Support of Committee Activities:
ASM Staff Liaison will provide an orientation and information prior to the beginning term date of September 1st annually. In addition, the Staff Liaison participates and is an active partner in all meetings and activities of the committee.
