The ASM Handbook Committee acts as a representative body for ASM members and all users of the handbooks published by ASM International. Its role includes ensuring that the handbooks are current, accurate, comprehensive, and user-friendly.
The Committee offers technical and administrative recommendations to ASM's editorial staff on suitable handbook topics, the need for revising volumes, and the material community's needs and interests.
Additionally, the Committee is responsible for generating new program and service ideas that align with ASM's Strategic Plan.
