The Nickel Institute have publications on Ni-Resist (11018) and on Ni-Hard (11017) which give the properties and applications of the different alloys in each of these 2 casting families. They are available as downloads from our website, free-of charge as with all our literature. They were written in the 1998 and 1996 respectively, and while the properties and alloys haven't changed (with a few exceptions), the publications use pictures that in many cases look very dated. We are in the process of updating both of these, and am hoping that the ASM community can help us especially with more modern color pictures and applications.  We will of course give photo credits.  These publications get a large number of downloads as there is little non-proprietary information on the web.  If you can help, please contact me at gcoates@nickelinstitute.org  Thanks for your help.

    Gary,
If you get any good microstructure images, ASM would be interested in adding them to the ASM Micrograph Database as well.
    Thanks,
    Scott
