Together with the help of local industry experts (Akron Steel Treating and Induction Tooling), we have built and tested the worlds most advanced induction heat treat Jominy Testing Rig. We recently published a paper at Heat Treat 25 " Relevance of Standard Jominy Test for Rapid/Intensive Quenching " and found that we can get repeatable high quality results that show unique differences in microstructure and surface stresse as a result of the change in cooling rate (heat transfer).
