    I am looking to acquire the book "Heat Treater's Guide - Standard Practices and Procedures for Steel" edited by Paul M Unterweiser, et.al. This book is no longer published. Is there an equivalent book to the above book? I will appreciate it if some one could help me.

    This book I had a copy and found that the information contained is very useful.

    The second edition of this book was published in 1995 and is still available from ASM. 

    The data sheets are also available in the ASM Alloy Center Database.

    ASM Members who also belong to the Heat Treating Society can also get the "Heat Treater's Guide Companion" app which will show a condensed version of the same information.  It has a list of the same steels as listed in the book.  I have had the Bok since it was published in 1982.  It has been a valuable resource for many years, and the app lets you search for the steels very quickly.
