ASM International's Journal of Materials Engineering and Performance (JMEP) will publish a special issue on Accelerated Evaluation and Characterization of Additively Manufactured Metals. Additive Manufacturing (AM) of metals has led to the development of new methods and materials through free-form fabrication. New characterization techniques and the establishment of process-structure-property relations must meet the needs of AM applications. This special issue will focus on accelerated evaluation and characterization of various properties of AM metals, with an emphasis on process-structure-property-performance relationships.
Prof. Mohammad Mahtabi, University of Tennessee-Chattanooga (United States), Prof. Aref Yadollahi, Purdue University Northwest (United States), and Mr. Rajan Bhambroo, Tenneco Inc. (United States) will serve as guest editors.
Interested authors are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract to Mr. Rajan Bhambroo (rajan.bhambroo.18@gmail.com) for consideration and comments before the preparation of a full manuscript.
