    I am going to recommend this book to many friends and colleagues
    in materials/metals business.   It felt very realistic.  Tom Clancy or 
    Dan Brown could have wrote it for ASM or HTS members.  Would be nice
    to make it in to a movie or TV episode.  Parts made me chuckle,
    especially when Ishikawa and Deming were mentioned.  Get the
    book and read it.

    I asked a year ago for exactly if such thrillers were available where the hero was an engineer using using engineering as integral to the plot. There was one book listed in response that I read and was a respectable plot (it involved industrial espionage with the goal to build a WMD at a secret facility). Anyway, I have just started your book. I already love the cover, an illustration that superimposes a Vickers hardness indent over a Knoop indent. Thanks~
