Like most professional organizations, ASM provides a framework
for continuing education and development in a particular field
of employment.
Since I am at a university, it is a wonderful resource to point
our students toward for their after-academic life in the "real
world". Too often, students think everything they need to
learn is learnt in the classroom. Then comes the rude
awakening......
