First, we encourage you to participate in the banquets hosted by the two engineering umbrella organizations in our area. It is a good opportunity to get to know some of the other science, engineering, and business people in our area. We will continue our traditional Foam Plane Contest this year during Celebrating Engineering Ingenuity (CEI) Day at the Dewey Gottwald Center in Richmond on Sunday, March 15. It is primarily for grade and high school students, but it is open to everyone. Feel free to stop by or volunteer to help with organization or questions from the attendees. If your company or organization would like to have a table at the event and speak to several hundred motivated middle, high, and college students, then contact Jeff Wiese for more information. If you have any children or know of any students who might be interested in participating in the Foam Plane Contest, then download the rules here and pass them along.
