Cost: Free (Gun rental and ammunition are extra cost)
Reservations: Please notify Jeff Wiese at reservations@cent-va-asme.org or 804-421-7897 to make reservations by Sept. 28. You must be an ASM member for this activity, and you may bring no more than one guest. Let me know if you or a guest are a first-time shooter. The size of the group is limited, but we will keep a waiting list if we have too many requests.
About the Event:
The ASME section and ASM chapter have reserved a bay with 8 lanes to accommodate up to 16 attendees who may be interested in shooting (normally $24/hour for the public). You are welcome to shoot even if you have never tried it before, and there will be people on hand to help you get started.
Eye and hearing protection are required on the range. Either may be rented if you do not have your own. Prescription glasses are sufficient for eye protection, and the disposable foam ear plugs work well. You may bring your own firearm and ammunition subject to the range rules, and they are offering handgun rentals at the lower member rate of $10/hour. You must buy their ammunition for the rented firearms.
